Blair Protest - Change of venue
Tony Blair today announced that he will not be appearing at Waterstones on September 8th to sign copies of his book. He said he cancelled the signing because he didn't want to cause any hassle for the Met Police or the public.
Interesting, the prospect of hassling the good folks of Iraq didn't seem to bother him much as he bombed the living daylights out of them. The protest will now take place on the same day at the Tate Modern art gallery at 5.30pm where Blair is hosting a launch party for his book. More info from Stop The War, below.
